WSA Championships (Church, San O)

SATURDAY the 10th
Swell/Surf: Primarily NW windswell, which will slowly increase through the day. Meanwhile, long period forerunners of a new South swell will slowly creep in through the day. Surf hangs mainly around the knee-waist high zone throughout the day (1-3′) with occasional windswell sets/peaks up to belly-chest high (3’+). Peaky shape. NOTE – Expect surf to be strongest over the afternoon and on the incoming tide push.
Wind/Weather: Light+ SE’erly wind in the early morning, gradually veering South through the morning and into the afternoon, then eventually SW around 7-10kts. Cloudy early, then gradually clearing up through the day, becoming mostly sunny into the afternoon.
Tides: 3.7′ high at 7:09am, 0.8′ low at 1:04pm, 4.9′ high at 7:25pm.

SUNDAY the 11th
Swell/Surf: NW windswell holds in the early morning, before starting to ease through the rest of the day. Meanwhile, new/long period South swell continues to slowly build in through the day. Surf hangs mainly around the waist high zone throughout the day (2-3’+) with occasional sets/peaks up to chest-shoulder high (4′). Peaky shape.
Wind/Weather: Light+ SE’erly wind in the morning, gradually veering South through the mid-late morning, then eventually SW-West into the afternoon around 9-12kts. Cloudy early, then gradually clearing up through the day, becoming mostly sunny into the afternoon.
Tides: 3.9′ high at 7:54am, 0.8′ low at 1:37pm, 5.3′ high at 7:52pm.
