Film Synopsis
Israel is a country that is loved, hated, and often misunderstood by much of the world. Who really belongs there? Why is Jerusalem so important? Why do some believe in a messiah who will put things right?
Amidst this seemingly endless battle over land and religion, surfing has emerged as an escape from the controversy.
Promised Land is a unique look at this ancient place through the lives of two friends from different faiths, brought together by their love of the oceans that separate them.

If you are interested in Israel you will surely enjoy watching Promised Land with it’s unique insight into the Land where it all started. You do not have to be a surfer to enjoy all that the Promised Land offers it’s viewers.

Please take this opportunity to invite your Christian and Jewish friends to come watch Promised Land and hear a special message from the Director.

"Now more than ever we as the Church need to gain a heart of love and respect for the Jewish people. Promised Land is a wonderful story of friendship, joy, and struggle through the eyes of surfing in Israel. I highly recommend this film, and I know it will stir you heart to see our responsibility to love the chosen people." -Pastor Ray Bentley|Maranatha Chapel

"In my 15 years of serving in Jewish ministry, this film is the best resource I have ever seen that shares God’s love for the Jewish people in such a compelling and sensitive format. If I had to choose just one resource to give to my Jewish friends or neighbors, this would be the one. I will continue to do all that I can to encourage both Jews and Christians to view this film so that the Holy Spirit can work through it." -Justin Kron|Chosen People Ministries
